SNAICC - Supporting Our Men to Heal workshop

Event Details

  • This is a three-day pilot workshop for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and non-Indigenous workers, who support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men and their families who experience family violence.

    These include family violence specific roles, men’s health, healing and support workers, men’s behaviour change workers, family support workers, counsellors, housing, drug and alcohol workers, youth workers, police and related fields.

    Participation in the workshop is encouraged for all workers who engage or want to engage effectively with our men who use family violence.

    This workshop is one of four new Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Family Violence workshops developed by SNAICC.

    When: Tuesday 19 to Thursday 21 June 2018
    Where: CERES, Cnr Stewart St and Roberts Street , Brunswick East, Melbourne, Vic
