Virtual Knowledge Circle Sessions

Event Details

  • The theme of these Virtual Knowledge Circle Sessions is Understanding and responding to increased risk of domestic and family violence and sexual violence in disasters.

    The aim of these sessions is to engage the Domestic and Family Violence sector to facilitate communication and ongoing connection for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander domestic and family violence/sexual assault/women’s health services via these online web seminars.

    There will be four Virtual Knowledge Circle Sessions facilitated by Sarah Boyne from The Healing Foundation and Lee Fagan from the WorkUP Queensland team and guest presenters.

    Dates:
    - Thursday 7 May 2020
    - Thursday 21 May 2020
    - Thursday 4 June 2020.

    Time: 10:30am to 12:30pm (AEST)

    These sessions are free to attend and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Domestic and Family Violence Worker, Women's Health or Sexual Assault Workers are encouraged to attend.
