Congratulations to two Western Australian community leaders whose achievements were recognised in the Australia Day honours awards. Geraldine Hogarth, a Pini Tjalkatjarra woman, received a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for her work in child ear health and language preservation, and Derby Shire President, Elsia Archer, received a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in acknowledgement of her tireless campaigning to have a culturally appropriate prison built in Derby.
