Research translation projects funding round open

  • 1 June

The Western Australian (WA) Department of Health has made funding available for the twelfth round of the Research Translation Projects program and is now accepting applications.

The Research Translation Projects (RTP) program was established by the former State Health Research Advisory Council (SHRAC) of the Department of Health in 2007.

The program seeks to support high-quality research projects that have the potential to demonstrate improved cost effectiveness and/or efficiencies that can be delivered to WA Health while maintaining or improving patient outcomes, with a focus on translation of research outcomes into health care policy and practice in WA.

Applications in the areas of clinical, health services and public health research are encouraged.

    A one-stage application process applies.

Projects must be completed within 24 months with a final report (including an economic evaluation) submitted by 7 December 2020.

Projects may be funded up to $270,000 and will be awarded on competitive merit.

Applications close on Monday 18 June 2018 at 1:00pm.
