Invitation to the NT Jurisdictional CQI Workshop

    “We are not alone”

    Wednesday 10th June 2015

    Alice Springs Convention Centre

The Commonwealth Indigenous and Rural Health Division has commissioned the development of a national CQI framework for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander PHC.

This work is being led by Lowitja in partnership with NACCHO and Affiliates and other relevant organisations.

In conjunction with the development of the framework, the Commonwealth is funding a CQI workshop in each State and Territory jurisdiction.

The NT workshop will be held in Alice Springs on 10th of June. At the Alice Springs Convention Centre.

The theme for this workshop is “We are not alone” as the aims for the workshop are to:

    • inform you of the work being done on the National CQI Framework

    • showcase quality initiatives in NT ACCHS and Government PHC services.

As with all of the CQI Collaboratives held in the NT, this Jurisdictional CQI Workshop will focus on bringing people together to share their stories, knowledge and experiences around their quality improvement efforts.

Please come along prepared to “share generously and steal shamelessly”. In other words; come willing to share your expertise with others and take others’ learning’s back to your service to consider.

There are opportunities for you to present and showcase your work.

If your service would like to present, please contact Kerry – kerry.copley@amsant.org.au or Louise - louise.patel@amsant.org.au to talk about this.

As numbers are limited to just 60 we would encourage you to register so that Communio can book your accommodation as soon as possible.

If you would like to discuss this workshop or your interest in being part of the program please contact either Kerry or Louise for more information.
