IAHA is looking for new Board members

    Are you a Full Member (Graduate) of Indigenous Allied Health Australia? If so have you thought about building your leadership capabilities and being involved in governance and strategic planning that drives Indigenous Allied Health Australia (IAHA) into the future?

    The 'Being an IAHA Board Director' Webinar series provides a good opportunity to raise questions with current and previous Board members and the IAHA secretariat.

    This is the first webinar of the series and will be hosted by Kylie Stothers, previous Board Director and current IAHA Workforce Development Manager. This interactive webinar will set the scene on the processes involved in nominating for an IAHA Board Director position. 

    Kylie will share her experience and why being an IAHA Board Director was a valuable experience for her, She will take you through everything you need to know; the forms you need to fill in, how to prepare and present your statement, and time commitment involved.

    Webinar two will be held on Monday 29 October 2018 at 1:00pm (AEST) and will cover the topic of Roles, Responsibilities and Expectations of IAHA Board Directors. This webinar will be hosted by IAHA Deputy Chairperson, Tirritpa Ritchie. In this live webinar, Tirritpa will discuss the roles, responsibilities and expectations of being an IAHA Board Director.

    Webinar three will be hosted by IAHA Chairperson, Nicole Turner and will discuss strategic leadership role the Board plays in driving the organisation forward. More detailed information confirming scheduling and the focus the webinars will be provided with each communique and updated regularly on the IAHA website.
