Indigenous Community Stories (ICS) is inviting applications from Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander storytellers who would like to record their lives and histories on film.

Launched in 2008, ICS is a joint initiative between the Film and Television Institute (FTI) and ScreenWest, which has captured stories about Stolen Generations, desert, town, art and music.

In 2016 ICS has formed a new partnership with the Healing Foundation, which aims to strengthen the program and further highlight stories from the Stolen Generations, however all applications are welcome.

Examples of the stories filmed since 2008 can be downloaded from the FTI website, and next deadline for applications is Friday 30 September 2016.
