The Telethon-Perth Children’s Hospital Research Fund was jointly established by the Department of Health and the Channel 7 Telethon Trust to fund health and medical research that focuses on the health of children and adolescents in WA. For Round 3, two funding streams are available:
Stream 1: Short-term Research Project Grants (2 year projects up to $250,000) for projects addressing areas of direct significance to child and adolescent health
Stream 2: Strategic Research Initiative Grants (3 year projects up to $500,000) for strategic innovative initiatives that aim to increase child and adolescent health research capacity in Western Australia and thereby lead to the improvement of research productivity and translational impact. Project selection will be based on competitive merit.

The Chronic Conditions Self-Management (CCSM) Reference Group invites consultation on two draft documents:
WA Chronic Conditions Self-Management – CCSM Program Criteria and the Self-Management Assessment Guide
These draft documents have been prepared as part of the implementation of the WA Chronic Conditions Self-Management Strategic Framework 2011-2015.The purpose of these documents is to:
- provide advice on the minimum criteria for chronic conditions self-management programs
- guide organisations seeking relevant program evaluation tools for chronic conditions self-management programs.
Consultation closes on 19 December 2014. To participate in this consultation please complete our online survey.
